Cavan town, the capital of County Cavan is a charming entity of itself as well as being conveniently located in order to explore the rest of the county surrounds. A busy market town, there are plenty of shops to explore and Cavan Crystal is the most well known produce of the area. It is also well facilitated for all types of sports activities including swimming, tennis, bowling and much more.

There are a few historic buildings of interest located in the town including the Life Force Mill, the Town Hall and Tonymore Castle. Traditional pubs are plentiful in the area, as are top-quality restaurants.
