Designed by Ryder Cup winning captain & player, Paul McGinley, Macreddin Golf Course is set in woodlands with tree-lined fairways and challenging layouts that favour players with an accurate shot off the tee. The course lies over opposing hillsides, with panoramic views across the valley available from many holes. The fourth tee in particular offers a stunning panorama, not just of the countryside but of the green some 40 metres below. A good tee shot will hang beautifully in the air, sure to be a talking point back in the club house.
The Irish Times described Macreddin Golf Course as “thoroughly enjoyable golfing experience.” The course is located close to the village of Aughrim in scenic county Wicklow.
