Just back in Cardiff after our 13th annual trip to Ireland, and yet again we escaped the bad weather. We got to Kilkenny Golf Club and it was lashing down with rain. By the time we had a coffee, put on our wet weather gear, and got to the first tee, it stopped raining and the sun came out. – how do you do it Aoife and Tiernan?
The Talbot suites and hotel in Wexford were up to their customary high standard. The staff, the bar, the food – exemplary. Kilkenny, Mount Wolseley, and Wexford were all in good condition, but we all thought we saved the best to the last. St Helen’s Bay was an absolute delight, and the course has certainly matured since we were last there a few years ago.. Definitely on our bucket list for next year.
