2023 Event Details
Tee off next Spring in Ireland’s Royal County of Meath at the 2023 Stena Line Senior Mixed Pairs. This unique golf event takes place from Sunday 23rd April to Thursday 27th April.
The multi award winning, 4-Star Knightsbrook Hotel Spa and Golf Resort will provide your luxurious accommodation. Knightsbrook is located in the tranquil heritage town of Trim. Surrounded by rolling parklands, the resort is within easy driving distance of Dublin port, Dublin Airport and the capital city itself. On the Sunday night of arrival, all participants will attend a Welcome Reception & Dinner in the golf clubhouse.
Royal Tara Golf Club will host the first day of the competition. Located just 15 minutes from your hotel and next to the historic Hill of Tara, this is a beautiful and challenging course. Day two takes you to the Killeen Castle Golf Club, host of the 2011 Solheim Cup and on the final day, you return to Knightsbrook Golf Club and once again test your mettle on fairways designed by the late Christy O’ Connor Jr, which has previously hosted the Junior Solheim Cup.
There will be a prize giving ceremony following golf on the Wednesday with daily & overall prizes awarded.
The format is Fourball Betterball each day. Maximum playing handicaps will apply: Gents 24 & Ladies 36.
The Stena Line Senior Mixed Pairs 2023 is open to competitors, 55yrs and older, from the UK, Ireland and beyond. Each team has 1 lady & 1 gent.
Ireland & Northern Ireland Package Details
For competitors from the island of Ireland (i.e. excluding ferry), the package includes:
- 3 nights Bed & Breakfast in the 4 Star Knightsbrook Hotel Spa & Golf Resort (Sun – Wed)
- 3 rounds of competition golf:
- Day 1: Royal Tara Golf Club
- Day 2: Killeen Castle Golf Club
- Day 3: Knightsbrook Golf Club
- Welcome reception & evening meal

Prices are based on 2 people sharing and players must be aged 55 or over and hold an official club handicap. Terms and conditions apply. Price is based on Euro pricing,
